Let's kickoff black history month by paying our respect to the great Cecily Tyson who recently passed away. In this episode, sisters Alexandra Hodge and Astrid Ferguson pay homage to a few black authors, books, and black-owned businesses. First, we share a few tips that helped us cope with quarantine.
Books shared in this episode are: Just as I am a memoir by Cecily Tyson and The Secret Lives of Church Ladies by Deesha Philyaw. We wanted to make sure we highlighted some of the stories/books we enjoyed most by two incredibly talented black women. We also discuss the Robinhood and Gamestop stock news. Which helped us discuss investing and what money mindsets we are leaving in 2020. Furthermore, sharing some key ways in which we will be shifting our money mindset for 2021.
2020 was a year full of highs and lows. Withstanding the pandemic, there were some lessons learned about making more sound financial decisions. So listen on and maybe right down some new money intentions for 2021. Invest in some black owned businesses that are thriving in the tech world. Listen to find out what are some black owned tech companies you used everyday and had no idea were black owned.
