Growing up I had no idea what Transgender was. It wasn’t until I reached the end of my teens that I realized this truth of mine. When I first came out, I remember people telling me that wasn’t possible because I would’ve known before 19. Looking into my past, I realized that I had always known I was transgender. I just never had a word for it. Starting with my favorite Disney Princess to playing house with the neighborhood kids as a boy.
