Brought to media attention by the recently-released movie “Oppenheimer” and an updated study of the extent of the country which rained with radioactive fallout after the “Trinity” atomic bomb test (46 states), there is renewed hope that New Mexican residents directly affected and sickened by the radiation may become eligible to receive compensation by the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, according the Tina Cordova, founder of “Trinity Downwinders”. Cordova talks about the update and relates some of the personal stories of those individuals and families affected.
