Born in the Bronx New York, Jorge attended Hofstra University in New York where he received his B.A. in Psychology and Speech. Upon his graduation Jorge had an opportunity to play professional baseball but turned it down to attend law school. Jorge accepted a scholarship to the University of Texas Law School. After receiving his J.D. and passing the bar in Texas Jorge then began working as an Assistant Attorney General. 

In January of 2000, after a productive career as an Assistant Attorney General, Jorge decided to leave the Attorney General's office and start his own law firm the Sanchez Law firm. where he specializes in personal injury and criminal defense. Jorge went on to win several high profile cases including the Yogurt Shop Murders and the Chidalu Amobi Capital Murder case.
