When you’re a new football coach, there’s a lot of information out there. Where should you focus to get a head start? Scheme vs. Position. Where is your focus when you want to be a football coach? Become an expert on one position? Become the master of one scheme? Neither of those is going to prepare you for your first coaching job. In fact, it’s pretty hard to prepare for your first coaching job until you’ve actually been hired.
