The world may soon have a large oversupply of products from various countries if US consumers lose their appetite for imported goods that are becoming increasingly expensive. This is due to US President Donald Trump’s new series of import tariffs of up to 50% on products from about 100 countries. Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi spoke to Dr Gilad Isaacs, executive director of the Institute for Economic Justice.
