What would you do if you knew Jesus would return next month or next year? If you knew the end of the world was near, would you live any differently?
While we don't know when Jesus will return, we do know that He will. And rather than trying to cross everything off our individual bucket lists and meet our internal wishes and desires, the expectation of Jesus' return should drive us outward towards others. Rather than pull us inward towards isolation, it should pull us outward towards community.
In this message, we look at this passage in Hebrews that teaches us that as we look at our world today and know Jesus said He's "coming soon," it's not as if we need each other less in the church, we need each other more. And because of what God has done for us in the past, and based on our hope for the future, that shapes how we should live in the present - in community with other believers.
We hope you're encouraged by this podcast! If you have questions about our church or what it means to follow Jesus, we'd love to hear from you! Check out our Instagram @fellowshipya, website www.fellowshipar.com/young-adults, or send us an email at [email protected].
