When Solomon declared, “There is nothing new under the sun,” he was speaking from human wisdom and earthly perspective. But what Solomon could not see was what God was about to reveal. He couldn’t see a virgin birth. He couldn’t see God wrapping Himself in flesh. He couldn’t see a new covenant, a new commandment, or a new creation in Christ.
