In Matthew 3:21-26, Jesus teaches us about the importance of staying focused on our own path and not comparing ourselves to others. This lesson is especially relevant when it comes to fitness and exercise. There are so many different types of exercise - cardio, strength training, yoga, and so on - and it can be easy to get caught up in the "which one is better or more effective" debates. But the truth is, what works for one person may not work for another, and it's important to find the type of exercise that feels right for you.

When we focus too much on what others are doing or what the media tells us is the "best" type of exercise, we can end up feeling discouraged or even give up altogether. But just like in Matthew, we need to understand what's more important; Whether we prefer running or weightlifting or dancing, God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to save all people.

So let us embrace the diversity of exercise and all the different ways we can stay active. Let's remember that it's not about which type of exercise is "better," but rather about finding what works for us as individuals and that ultimately, Jesus just wants us to be a good steward over the temples he's blessed us with, whatever that looks like. Let us trust that our heavenly father knows our journey, and if we let him guide us, we can move forward knowing that we are doing what's right for our own bodies and minds.
