In looking at the state of the church of God today, in the light of Revelation chapters 2 and 3, we begin by looking at what the church ought to be, to enable us to see where we are, before evaluating the Lord’s assessment of whether we are healthy.

Thus, when John, the Elder, saw the Lord, in a vision or trance, on the Island of Patmos, he saw Him standing amid seven golden lampstands, holding seven stars in His right hand. This introductory clip discusses the symbolism of the golden lampstand as it relates to the church of God.
