Alexandra Whittington is a futurist, public speaker and lecturer at the University of Houston. She teaches courses which cover the impact of technology on society, and the future of human ecosystems - and has been recognised as one of Forbes’ world’s top women futurists. In this conversation, Alexandra reflects on what attracted her to the world of futurism; details why she has chosen to focus her research on social issues that are “timeless and universal;” and discusses her most recent book ‘Opportunities: Scenarios for a Post-Pandemic Future,’ which explores the type of future we might experience once this crisis has passed.
