Homebound is one of the questions we get asked in the field the most often. It is confusing even to us at times exactly what that looks like. By digging through this more, the three of us even learned more about how to discern who could be considered homebound and qualify for that Medicare benefit.

Like, did you know they can still go and get their haircut? Or that if they’re in assisted-living they can still leave their room to go play bingo as long as they’re not leaving the entire building? How about those who are going to adult daycare or even a family member‘s wedding could still qualify?
