In this episode of “What The Music” we’re cracking open the computer and playing some submissions you sent in!
Here’s who we played:
Whitworth – Spring: A Reprise
Whitworth is a solo project where he puts all the music to sing on. Everything is self produced from his home studio in Saint Louis.
Thee Oh Sees – Devil Again
Recoded live in 2012 at Austin Psych Fest, the show has re appeared as a vinyl “Live at LEVITATION”, immortalizing it on glorious 12″ colored wax, a must for psychedelic rock fans
The Tiger Moths – Dreaming Of Yesterday
This is the first single from our debut album, When Sunshine Departs
Vanity Mirror – Dandelion Wish
This lo-fi flower-ballad blends soft nylon strumming with sparkling electric jangle; playful mellotron flourishes with an urgent quirksome rhythm section.
Chaz Jankle – Water
Funky with a bit of neo funk.
MesaVerde – Picking for the Beast
A new band based in Oslo, Norway, with one foot planted in pop and another in prog.
