Our waste is enormous. But politicians won't tell you that. If the facts aren't good just change the facts. I like clean water but that's getting harder to find. I like sitting at a table in a restaurant with a plate, silverware and a glass of water, not eating from a bag a piece of meat slapped between a bun wrapped in wax paper, sipping sugar water from a straw in a plastic cup. Our historic debt is never going to be paid back.
