We've all been there. You feel like your business is not progressing. You feel like you've done everything and still it's not going anywhere. No matter what you do, you feel like you are doing the same thing over and over with little to no results. Well, that's what we call a rut. and it's a terrible place to be. I would love to tell you that it's easy to get out of a rut, but it's not. The best advice I can give is these 5 simple steps to help you get out of that rut and back into progression.

Albert Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Why do most people think that being consistent is just doing the same thing multiple times and think that's going to get them ahead in life? Well, to me, consistency is much more than repetition. It's repetition with purpose and meaning. Reading, audios, mentorship, communication. All those things are good habits to be consistent on. But, in order to be consistent, we need to have the ability to get rid of the bad habits that get in the way of that consistency.
Don't wait, you will never be truly ready. Get out of your comfort zone and start your consistency journey right now!

There are a lot of things going on in the world right now and I think that people are starting to lose themselves. Some people will go onto social media and blast their issues to the world, some people use the internet to spread hate and negativity around, and others are just being indecent human beings in real life (doing some pretty nasty things to people's property). I wanted to get a message out to those that think that they need to spread their problems around. How about we take a step back, take a deep breath, exhale nice and slow, and think about what we are going to say or do before we say or do it.

Going back to a little bit of history about us and talking about some of how we got here. I talk about some of the struggles we had, as well as some of the reasons why we made some of the decisions we did. Also, I go into how we got introduced to our current business opportunity and why it means so much to us.
Additionally, I touch a little bit on my friend Luis Xavier who I had a call with tonight. This man is a master email marketer (but he is humble too, so he won't call himself that) and he helped get my head in the right direction for what we are doing right now to market our business online and following up via email. If you'd like to check him out, feel free to click the link below and head over to his Facebook group, D-Marketing Show.

There aren't a lot of things that are mandatory, but apparently staying home because of COVID-19 is. Also, it's crazy to think that there is so much uncertainty in the world right now so we decided to do something to help people as much as we could. Listen in and see what that was.

It is important to be prepared when it comes to how things are right now in the world. With pretty much all of our business going remote right now, it's more prevalent than ever to be prepared for our engagements and meetings. Just like this weekend, where I didn't have any material to show to one of my team members' prospects, I had to put something together to show that we are at least a little bit professional and we have some sort of information we can provide. The good news is that I made it just in time. It was a little janky, sure, but it worked and he seemed to understand the material. But, because of this, I now have a few days to learn from my mistakes and start working on some professional material that I can have ready for our next meetings coming up this week.

Thinking about everything we have and what we've worked for, it's easy to take a lot of it for granted. Time with kids, time with friends and family, our jobs, the ability to go out and grab a coffee or a bite to eat. Any of those things are things that we normally don't think would be something we'd take for granted, but we do. In a time where we don't have those things, maybe it's time to step back and think about what they mean to us and how we can appreciate those things more. Maybe it's a person or group of people. Maybe it's your job. Maybe it's your business. Whatever it may be, take some time to write down what you might have taken for granted and think about how you can changed how you view them.
Katie and I are currently isolating ourselves at home and I talk a little bit about the struggles we are going through, a little bit about the state of the country and the world right now, and a little bit of mindset behind it. Remember, with every adversity comes with it a seed of equal or greater benefit (Napoleon Hill).
Most people that go through stressful life situations will not panic, but in some instances there is a lot going on and the overwhelming feeling will cause people to do things that they normally wouldn't even dream of. With the situations that we have going on in the world right now, it makes sense that a lot of people are panicking. Fear of the unknown is a big one. The biggest thing we can do is slow down, take a step back, look at the possibilities that can come of the situation, and make a calm decision on what we are going to do. Go ahead and give this a listen and see how some situations could have been handled differently if there wasn't a panic.
With Coronavirus bearing down on everyone in the world, it's the perfect time to be at peace and use effective communication to make sure everyone is doing well. Practice some peaceful activities (like yoga, meditation, prayer, etc.), give a call to your loved ones to let them know the situation you're in (good or bad), and be sure to keep people updated so they know what is going on in your life. It's imperative right now, but this is also something that can be done throughout your life and not just in an epidemic like we have going right now. Communication is how we all stay connected to one another, let's not let that slip.
