You might be surprised to know that imposter syndrome affects seasoned leaders just like it affects aspiring leaders. It’s the feeling that you don’t belong in the role you’re in, maybe not even sure how you got there in the first place. Some feel like they’re not totally sure what they’re doing, and that it’s only a matter of time before everyone figures that out.
You’re not alone. Imposter syndrome is extremely common. The good news is that there are things you can do to create a mind shift that will allow you to become more comfortable in your role. I’m not talking about “fake it till you make it” - that phrase has some merit but it also downplays what you’re feeling.
