Welcome to the Smash system podcast. I’m your host, Nino Prodan. And today, I want to ask you, are you thinking about starting a business, but look at what you’re going to do and think, How the hell can I do this? With all these people already doing it? They’re all these big names doing the same thing that I want to do. And there’s no way that I can compete with them. This is you. I totally understand when I first started coaching and it was like, big names like Tony Robbins and Brendan Bouchard, just dominating the marketplace. And I was like, How the heck can I fit in here? When these guys are doing everything that I’m doing? And then some, they have all these systems in place all this marketing in place, name recognition. How can a small fry like myself, compete with that? Well, first I want to change your mindset on this. If there’s people making a lot of money Doing what you want to do. That means there’s actually demand for it. So instead of discouraging yourself, think about, hey, there’s all these people that want to do this. So it’s not about competing with them directly. It’s about differentiating yourself in the marketplace. And helping people understand you’re different approach or different point of view. Just because there’s somebody that’s big in the marketplace, doesn’t mean that they appeal to everybody. They don’t appeal to everybody. There’s going to be people that are totally repulsed by them. But when they hear you talk about what you do, talk about the results that you help people get that they totally click with you they totally Connect. So start thinking about what we talked about yesterday. Think about how you can appeal to people’s desires and connect to them. Create a connection and a relationship with your future customer. dimmers start to help them build trust in you, and help them understand you know what you’re doing. help them see where your product or service will help them get to share with them, Why you understand the predicament they’re in. The more personal and vulnerable you get, the more connection you have, and the deeper the relationship you can build. The one thing you want to look at is, if there’s nobody competing in that marketplace, is it really a place for you to start because there’s no demand? There’s a reason that nobody selling anything there. And it’s not because it’s an original idea. Usually, it’s because there’s no demand for that product. Or maybe somebody hasn’t learned how to sell it yet. That’s a possibility. But don’t be discouraged. When there’s already a lot of competition. That means there’s a lot of demand. Just figure out how to carve out your unique person. perspective, and then you don’t need to compete because you’re original. Well, that’s it for this week.
