I believe that "Pivot Guilt" is a real thing. We make decisions in life and sometimes, those decisions have impact on others. And for many of us, knowing that, eats at us significantly. It could be us choosing to leave a relationship, a friendship that is causing us pain, or maybe a job or organization that isn't right for us any longer. Many times, these pivots make out lives better, hopefully, but can also hurt others in the wake. This is a real thing and something we have to understand. Sadly, some people allow the pain of others to keep them stuck in their own misery because they want to avoid hurting others. I get that. Most of us get no pain out of hurting others. But we have to understand that making necessary pivots can do exactly that. And for those of us who really care about other people...well...that can make us feel all kinds of guilt.
So, in this episode of the Pivot to Prosper podcast, I want to tackle the subject of PIVOT GUILT.
