Welcome to Season 2, Episode 6 of the This Is Your Life podcast. In this sixth episode, Michele Cushatt and I discuss the difficulty of waiting.
I am good at a few things, but waiting is not one of them. Whether it is being put on hold when I call a business, sitting in the waiting room of my dentist’s office, or standing in the security line at the airport, I am impatient.

Are you waiting for ...
Word about a job you want?
The results of your recent medical tests?
Mr. or Ms. Right to show up?
Your pregnancy test results?
The judge’s decision on your court case?
A response to an important email?
Approval for a loan?
The answer to a prayer?
The pain to stop?
If you are, I have good news. I still struggle with waiting, but over the years, I have gotten better. In this episode, Michele and I discuss five strategies for coping with those situations where you are forced to wait:
Embrace it.
Ask the right questions.
Redeem the time.
Encourage someone else.
Trust God.
We may not like waiting, but we can get better at it. More importantly, we can learn to see it as a gift and learn from it.
