Those skills and those talents that you have – fear stops you from sharing those with the world. This doesn’t feel good and it’s really upsetting to you. Many times we hate to think that we’re missing out on stuff, so we just say we don’t really care about it and use excuses like, “there’s just no point.” But, there is a point. There’s a huge purpose to doing all kinds of stuff. Connecting to other people, experiencing new things, and developing ourselves is what life is all about and we don’t want to miss out on that. Here are four things that you could do when you are sick and tired of letting fear stop you in your life: 1. Commit to getting over your fear. It’s deciding that you want to do this and you’re not going to let anything stop you. People all the time overcome their fears, overcome their anxiety or any of these kind of problems. And don’t say that you’re worse than all of them because I swear, you’re not. 2. Break it down. Fear has all kinds of power and its built itself up in your mind and in your life. It builds itself up with all kinds of evidence that you feel is true and tells you you should be afraid. Anxiety gets so invasive in our heads. We have to clarify what we’re afraid of. The anxiety usually doesn’t have too much beyond it and if we break that down we could see that there’s not as much to be afraid of.3. Take action. Do something, even if you’re just pacing back and forth. Go take a walk or pace, any repeating movement will help you feel better. Take action in terms of contributing to whatever you’re afraid of. Do something that would counter that fear or counter the result of that. When we’re paralyzed in fear or feel helpless, the fear just gets bigger. We have to take some action to help it go down. 4. Love yourself through it. This is not something to beat yourself up about. It happens to all of us. This is something so many people feel and you can feel better. I’ve got myself over the worst anxiety that I ever heard of. I loved myself through it, so I want you to love yourself through it too. If you do these four things, commit to it, break it down, take action and love yourself through it, you will find that you are going to get better.Thank you so much for listening!
