Life can be really, really awesome. We know this, because we’ve experienced it, and get to experience this over and over again.
Like the first date of that relationship we will never, ever forget.
The day the phone rang and it was the job offer you always wanted.
The moment you completed that really, really hard task that you didn’t want to do, but you’re so proud of yourself for doing. But there’s times where life gets really, really hard.
So hard, to the point where it feels like a lot to just get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other.
Because that requires dealing with something that, right now, seems really really hard to do.
And sometimes, this feeling of being overwhelmed, could last days, weeks, months, even years, and could be a combination of a few variables in our life, or maybe it's just one.
But regardless of the formula, feeling overwhelmed happens to everyone at some point or another.
And without being able to process what is happening, and continuing to just pile on more and more onto our plate and ignore the signs of overwhelm, we ultimately burnout, and see the quality of our lives slipping away.
Perhaps this overwhelm is because you’re constantly battling anxiety, depression, or some other mental illness.
Maybe it's from your heart being broken.
Maybe you’ve gone through a trauma, recently, or in the past, and it still feels fresh as ever.
Or maybe you have no idea why you feel this way, and you’re constantly probing yourself for answers so you can figure out how to combat this overwhelm?
Whatever the case is, I can tell you this. It’s going to be ok.
Everyone goes through tough times and it doesn’t make you any less capable, lovable, or worthy. You’re human, and unfortunately, being a human means that we are going to experience some ebbs and flows, some highs and lows, and this journey of life that we are on is going to get really messy at times.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now, I want to give you a strategy that instantly improves my mood and helps me combat overwhelm, helps me get one foot in front of the other so that I can walk out of this hard time and into my highest potential.
Let's dive in.

Lauren
