What to Pack for the Perfect Carry-On

Want to travel lighter and smarter? In this episode, we share exactly what to pack (and what to skip) to create the perfect carry-on. Learn how to stay organized, maximize space, and make your trip easier from takeoff to landing, so you can travel confidently with everything you need right at your fingertips. 

*Pack a tote that holds things you'll use during the flight if you're not planning to place your carry-on underneath the seat in front of you.  Remember our previous episode about Loungaroo? Their hoodie can serve this purpose and so much more.  Also pack:
ENTERTAINMENT/WORK:
Books/magazines (physical and digital)/movies/music
Phone/tablet/laptop
Chargers and cables for electronic devices (solar charger)
Headphones/earplugs
Universal Adapters
Paperwork and Pen
Wifi  wherever you go
COMFORT:
Empty water bottle/thermos to fill up after security in the airport before getting on the flight
Healthy Snacks
Hand sanitizer/wipes to sanitize your personal area
Compression socks (plan to wear them on long flight days).
Feminine hygiene (unless you're a guy ;) )
Warm cozies: socks-cozy cardigan that wraps like a blanket-hoodies - Rory's flannel shirts :)
Healing Balm that protects, soothes, and moisturizes the skin
Sleeping mask with black-out lining
Travel blanket/pillow
Tissue
DOCUMENTS:
Passport
Insurance cards (health, travel)
Credit cards/Cash- currency in the country you’ll be visiting
Tuck away printed versions of your reservations, confirmations, itineraries, addresses, maps, copies of your passport, and license.
ESSENTIALS:
Prescription Glasses/Contacts
Prescription Medications
Vitamins
Valuables -always carry on any camera equipment and/or jewelry.
*WHEN your carry-on is also your main suitcase for your trip:
TSA-approved liquid carry-ons - liquids will fit inside a single quart-sized plastic bag.A
 small pill case for general ailments such as a headache, nausea, and allergies.
CLOTHING:
RAINPROOF JACKET that you can dress up or down.
5-6 TOPS (shirts, blouses, T's, sweaters, sweatshirts)
3-5 BOTTOMS (shorts, pants, skirts, workout wear)
(All tops and bottoms can mix and match with each other.  Let workout wear double as sleepwear - then you're ready to work out when you wake up.
Swimsuit
6 pairs of undies
4-6 pairs of socks
Accessories: belt, jewelry, scarves, tights,  packable hat: one that you can throw in a bag without it losing its shape.
2 Total pairs of shoes (Pack one, wear one).
If you have room, ladies, bring a second bra or sports bra, and pack a dress that you can dress up or down, that coordinates with your other clothing.
TO FEEL REFRESHED AND READY UPON ARRIVAL:
Toothbrush and Paste  and/or Disposable Teeth Wipes
Toiletry/Makeup  Bag: mascara, white eyeliner can brighten eyes, concealer, blush
Sunglasses
Face/Makeup/Body wipes
Tinted hydrating gel cream
Non-Aerosol Dry Shampoo
Mints
Deodorant
Eye Drops
OTHER ITEMS TO CONSIDER:
Plastic zipper bags
Quick-dry travel towel (also serves as your travel blanket).
Small roll of travel toilet paper<
