Nadia Romanos speaks to Gerhard Painter, the co-writer and co-director of South African animated sci-fi family film, “Headspace”.
The film is written by Ronald Henry, Daniel Buckland, Paul Meyer and Gerhard Painter, and co-directed by Gerhard Painter and Paul Meyer of Johannesburg’s Luma Animation (Shaka Ilembe, CGI &VFX and Kings of Joburg 2 CGi & VFX).
“Headspace” sees three aliens find themselves stranded in the brain of 16-year old Norman. It releases in South African cinemas on 15 September 2023.
