What tools are in your resiliency toolbox?

Given the recent adversities facing our communities, our nation, our world, and even our universe, it all can feel so big. I liken it to trying to eat an elephant, or here at Kripalu, a bushel of kale!  How do you do either when they are so big? Simply put, ONE BITE AT A TIME! A perfect time to practice mindfulness—wouldn't you say?

Take 10 minutes and listen to this brief podcast. In it, I discuss how times of change can bring many opportunities and possibilities if we can shift the focus away from fear to LOVE.


Next, grab your journal, a piece of paper, or even a sticky note and make a list of your resiliency tools. Be sure to keep them close by so you can visit and practice them regularly.

Notice the shifts that happen as you remember these tools and then begin to use them.  

Remember, this is now about thriving in a new normal and finding strategies in a time of resiliency.
