The Deseret News and Hinckley Institute of Politics did a poll to ask Utahns where they place the blame for mass shootings. 54% say the principal cause is mental health. 27% say inadequate gun laws. 11% say inadequate security in schools or other places, and 18% say something else. KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson wanted to get input from her guests on A Woman's View. Her guests this week are Dr. Laurie Sakaeda, psychologist and founder of A Helping Hoof, and Liz Sollis, Associate Director of Community Engagement for Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation.
