Have you asked your dad, "What was becoming a dad REALLY like?"
You're going to want to watch and listen to this one - especially if you think it's rare to hear a dad speaking honestly about what he felt during the tumultuous start to fatherhood.
That's right. We're talking about real dad emotions here!
This is the first of three episodes where we explore what we actually experienced during the first few days, weeks and months with our kids.
Dads have a complicated relationship with their own stories of becoming parents, because for most of the first part we are background and support actors who are focused on the needs of their partner and child.
This is a good thing, but it does mean that when it is time for a dad to work through their own story it can be hard to truly engage with their experiences.
This episode we focus in on Sean and Zoe. For many of us, this might be the first time we'll hear a man talk openly and honestly about the struggle, emotion and hope he felt in the first period fatherhood.
