When we live in denial and put a mask on to be accepted then we believe that we have to continually live in a false identity to be accepted. To truly live as an authentic person we need to risk being truly known by others in a safe community. When each person lives this way it will lead to authentic community. 

Looking at the 12 disciples we consider their relationships with each other. If Peter was part of a modern day small group he would probably have to go to sensitivity training and conflict resolution. As we wrap up we ask the question, what can we apply to our lives and relationships?
