travelers are told about emergency exits, seatbelts, floatation devices,

and oxygen masks. If you ever pay attention, you’ll notice that

there’s an emphasis ensuring your well-being first before you attempt to

help another. While that can sound selfish, it actually just embraces a

simple truth: you cannot help others when you’re incapacitated

yourself. As a church, we have a heart to see much change in this world

and in our spheres of influence. But we cannot do anything if our own

church isn’t functioning in a vibrant and healthy way. Today, we’re

going to look at some simple basics that allow our church to thrive. We

need each person who is a part of Hope to be committed to three

actions, and the well-being of our church will rise or fall depending on

how we each respond.
