The 2024-2025 school year just started so this episode's topic aligns a little better.
For children's media the beginning of the school year was an event; our eyes/attention were and continue to be the currency of choice. However, in the 70s/80s/90s there appeared to be an attempt to provide life lessons while pushing you to buy the latest product.
