Eddie and I have been on Clubhouse a lot lately, interacting, contributing, and learning new things. Among the many things we learned this week is what rich people teach their kids about money. Many people are not willing to talk about money, and some even believe that money is the root of all evil.
We learned that to grow wealthy, one has to change their attitudes towards money and view it as a tool rather than an end. We have to teach our kids that money is not scary or evil, they have to be willing to work for it and show them different opportunities to multiply it.
We also learned about the power of delayed gratification and how to control impulses, especially as it relates to financial discipline. We should also teach our kids about it, and an excellent way to do it is through the Marshmallow experiment.
Tune in to hear more about this and other important lessons that Eddie and I learned this week and how you can apply them to your life.
