Growing cold is a dangerous area to enter as a Christian. It never happens over night. It is a slow process that eventually causes us to drift far from the presence of God. I strongly believe no truly saved individual has ever deliberately grown cold on God. It typically stems from weaknesses and poor spiritual habits that can progress in one's life.
