In this podcast, I discuss my thoughts inspired from a book called 'Drive' by Daniel H. Pink. At one part he talks about how when people reach what they think they value they then realise that it wasn't as valuable or as meaningful as they thought. This can cause people to double down and try harder or maybe it should cause us to stop and reflect. He uses examples of money and profit in particular.
In my discussion, I end up exploring the topics of societal and personal views of success, 'positive deviance', trends in sport participation, profit and rewards.
