Products delivered in oversized boxes or packaging containing more air than product: We’ve all experienced it before. Such excessive packaging creates a vast amount of waste. This is one of the reasons why the EU has developed the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). By placing new requirements on all packaging coming to the market starting 2030, the PPWR will transform packaging throughout Europe, aiming to reduce waste and its impact on the environment. But what changes will consumers see and how does the regulation affect companies?
