Traditional waterfall-style #projectmanagement has a deep focus on metrics, deadlines and deliverables. Some people think that #agile frameworks don't measure metrics or take performance-based measurements seriously but that isn't true.
#scrum and #agile are all about delivering products, features and services that truly delight customers. Frequently and consistently. Doing so requires you to have a finger on the pulse of #productdevelopment and to know what must be communicated to the #productowner and #productstakeholders.
Making sure that the team are consistently achieving #sprintgoals and delivering working products to customers is a priority for both #scrummasters and #agilecoaches.
So, what metrics would be important for an agile coach to measure? Also, how are those metrics different to what the #scrummaster will be measuring?
In this short video, John McFadyen walks us through the most important metrics for an agile coach to consider and provides some insights into why those specific metrics matter.
John McFadyen has worked on some of the highest performing #scrum teams in the world as both a scrum master and agile coach. He has also worked at the coalface of some of the UK and Europe's largest, most complex #agiletransformations so he knows a great deal about reporting on metrics to all levels of the organisation.
