John Adams: “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

With that in mind, how would he respond to being teleported to 2020? He would probably die of shock at the moral decay of society. If the country was only designed to work with a self regulated society, what now? Well, as I see it we can either end up with a 1984/Brave New World dystopic future, or have a third great awakening. It is up to each of us to decide what direction we choose. We must learn to self regulate and stop relying on others. If we can do that, we take back our lives, families, communities and nations. If not, well get the popcorn I guess.
