This week Tim and Karen team up in Jordan's absence to tackle another difficult topic. What should we do when life gives us lemons? The ups and downs of life can be overwhelming at times. One minute things are going well, then we're thrown a curve ball that knocks us out completely. One step forward, three steps back. This can be especially stressful if you're trying to be perfect, always chasing perfection. Perfection is an illusion, it's not real.
What good we've done can be overshadowed by expectations, anticipating certain outcomes for our efforts. Living life to the fullest means accepting whatever outcome we get without comparison or judgment. We encourage you to what you can to stay inspired, speak hope into existence, be in love with the many moments that occur in life. Know that the moment you're in will some day be a memory that you and those around you may cherish. Even the painful ones. The pain too will eventually fade into obscurity.
What's left at the end of the day is the emotional memory that we assign to each moment we get to experience. Knowing this, what we feel about what happens may just matter more than what actually happens. We can choose to love life and all of its chaotic nuances. So think about what you think about. That's as good a place as any to start.
We are very grateful to all our listeners.
We'd love to hear your feedback or ideas for future episode topics.
