WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

è God wants to do a work for His Glory in you …. You have to partner/participate to see it come to pass!

è God’s desire can be a real threat to our agendas! (Will we submit in faith, trust, obedience?)

è Compare Mary’s response to that of Zacharias.

• Zacharias initially believed his circumstances were too much for the Lord.

• I must beware of telling God what I am “too old” for (or too anything) that He wants to do in and through me. (too insignificant, too weak, too poor, too challenged, etc.)

• Zacharias had a problem believing God could do what He said. Mary’s only question was practical, functional.

è Mary’s responses exemplify that PREPERATION, AND DEVELOPMENT come before MANIFESTATION.

• Mary’s worship and declaration were evidence of her heart’s preparation. (Luke 1:46-55)

✸ Mary’s spirit was “pregnant” with the Word of God before her body was pregnant with the Child of God.
