What You Do Have Control Over in an Uncontrollable Situation. -060
We don’t have a say of when a storm will hit our life but we do have a say in how we respond.
Our mental state is just as important as our physical and honestly they go hand in hand. From unimaginable tornado devastation to the Corona virus and tremendous fear flooding our world, I cannot help but be concerned with our mental state. We’re used to having control and answers... without that sense of control and unknowns we go nuts.. and wipe the store of toilet paper to feel more in control.
I’m not underplaying the virus or it’s tremendous effect on so many aspects of our lives, but I challenge you to protect your mind in such trying times because it’s just as, or more important for your sense of well being and future.
I’m not a fan of fear but I am a fan of using common sense and taking necessary precaution. God is still in control.. always was, always will be. What we water our mind with, GROWS. I’ll dive deeper into my thoughts on all of this madness on episode 60 of A Drop of Sunshine podcast.
