This is the smashes system podcast, I’m Nino Prodan. This week, we’ve been going through how to pivot, how to change directions, in this changing environment that we find ourselves in these days. And we’ve gone through sorting out what you can do, and who you can help, and even how to talk to them. But once you put all that together, sometimes it can be overwhelming. I know the first couple years when I started my coaching business, it seemed like I was always chasing after something else to learn, spinning my wheels a lot not getting any traction. And if I didn’t have such a commitment, such a big vision for what I was doing, I would have given up and today I want to go over one way that you can avoid this. So what I’d like you to do, is of course write it down because I love to get you to write things down but it’s good to clear your mind and get everything out of your head, clear your emotions. So writing everything down does that for you. And now that we’ve already gone through the stuff that you can do and kind of looked at the people that you can serve, what I’d like to look at today is the things that you don’t know how to do or the things that you don’t like to do. And start to write those things down, start to write down what you don’t like to do. What doesn’t motivate you, energize you, and some things you may not know yet because you haven’t really started the business. But if you if you do have a business going right now, and you’re looking at shifting gears, write down what you don’t like to do, write down what you’re not good at. And these are the things that you want to avoid doing. So you’re going to find somebody else to do them for you. If there’s something that’s necessary that it’s necessary for you to do, and you need to grow your skill at it, then do it. Find a way to learn it that way you could enjoy it and one way I see Just is not overwhelming yourself with it, find a way to have fun with it. Make sure that there’s no expectations when you’re doing it when you’re practicing it. And if there’s no expectations, yeah, there’s a goal that you want to achieve. There’s something that you’re aiming for, but you don’t expect it. You don’t say, Alright, I need to get this done. It has to be this good or it has to be this way. Give yourself some space to practice the skill. But I digress. Write down the things that you don’t like to do aren’t good at and start to look at services that can help you with guidance or actually just take it off your hands totally start looking at personal assistance. You know, in previous podcasts, I’ve talked about how I hired a personal assistant to take away the work that I did at my job that I didn’t like to do this stuff. That was a waste of my time, because I found other things more valuable to do, like start my coaching business. You know, the one thing People think about when contemplating a business, they think, Oh, I have to kill myself to get this business up and running, I have to kill myself to make it successful. And you don’t you have to think correctly. Don’t have to do all the work yourself. You have to find a way to get the work done. But you don’t have to be the one doing it. And if you start with that in mind, you’re going to grow more quickly. And you’re also going to have more energy and more focus to help it along and enjoy yourself in the process. So write down your do not do list and look at who can help you. That’s it for this week, and I will talk to you next week.
