Courageous Beauty

What you eat grows the most!

Listen Later

I heard the song want he make you clean inside and I wasn't sure if there was a exact scripture that said that and I came across a couple of Jesus talking to the Pharisees recorded in Matthew and Luke so let's peek on in on the scriptures to see what Jesus had to say to the Pharisees and us too shall we?
Matthew 23:26
New Living Translation
You blind Pharisee! First wash the inside of the cup and the dish, and then the outside will become clean, too.
King James Bible
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Luke 11:39
New Living Translation
Then the Lord said to him, “You Pharisees are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy—full of greed and wickedness!
King James Bible
And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
Read Matthew 4:1-4
Matthew 4:4 read
Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out the Mouth of God
We shall eat meat of the Word and no longer milk but know that Satan will try to temp you and make things hard because of what psalm 51 says.
Psalm 51(we are born into this sin nature born into iniquity right from our mothers womb that's why you can see videos of little kids lying already and didn't even have to be taught. We  laugh because we think it's cute and to be honest I think it's more of something that really catches us off guard and we laugh to cope. Because really is it funny for a kid to have icing on their mouth and say no to you asking if they ate the cake that's learned behaviors and as parents or as just a family member we must set the precedent that that is not acceptable. That's why we ask God to
Create in me a clean heart O Lord and renew a right spirit within us we must know we were born into sin because we were born into this world but it doesn't mean we cant counter act the sin nature with the Word of God and making sure we monitor what and who we allow access to us and to Penetrate our spirits. We ought to know we are what we consume and what we eat the most will grown the most and show on outside of us which is why we need to be concerned more on the inward man and what is going to be coming out of our hearts we don't want the this of Mark 7:20-23 coming out of our hearts
Mark 7:20-23 KJV
For he had said that it is what comes out of the man that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, come forth the evil thoughts, the adulteries, the fornications, the murders, the thefts, the covetousness (excessive greed), the wickedness, the deceit, the lasciviousness(driven by lust; preoccupied with or exhibiting lustful desires.), the evil eye, the slander, the pride, the unwiseness: all these evil things come out from within and defile the man.
The Pharisees were so worried about their image
Read 2 Timothy 3
2 Timothy 3:5 says they were having the form of Godliness but denying the power thereof from such we are to turn away. So much so the missed our saviour and crucifixed him. Even poor Nicodemus, a Pharisee  wanted to follow Jesus and did so secretly but being in his position as a high priest caused him to fear loosing what he valued; his image, position, and power more. Which is why when Jesus told the disciples to follow him they had to too give up and sacrifice who they were to become who they were meant to be. Which is why we have to follow the scripture that says forgetting those things which are behind press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. It's a press to forget what you once knew when it was the only thing and the only way you knew. Which is why we must died daily to our flesh and what we think of ourselves and what folks think of us and focus on what comes out of us so we can represent God like Jesus did in the Spirit of truth without being defiled and vile and cruel and sinful
