The pines are gone - well five of them. They died under suspicious circumstances and this is what we were left with: a brown patch of land.

And now, nearly one year later. We planted bare-rooted hornbeams about seven months before this pic was taken. One day it will be a magnificent hedge… one day.

And just over a year later a garden starts to emerge!!
