Upon learning of the death of civil rights titan and hero John Lewis I wanted to take a moment to thank him and highlight that despite any political differences it is impossible to deny that the country would not be where it is without brave individuals like this man. Additionally, I briefly touch on unsung heroes of the reconstruction era such as Tunis Campbell, and other heroes such as Medgar Evers And Dr. Martin Luther King. Coming shortly will be an episode dedicated to Tunis Campbell and his incredible experiment in democracy during the early stages of reconstruction in the post- Civil War era.
