This month we chatted with the courageous leader of Whatcom Feline Alliance, Chelsea Mathews. WFA is no-kill, pro-TNR foster care system based virtual shelter. Their mission is to build bridges and fill gaps where needed to improve the lives of all felines here in Whatcom County.

Whatcom Feline Alliance is like the Little Engine that Could. They are small, but mighty!

Here are some outstanding stats about their efforts:

So far this year they have adopted out 200 cats!

So far this year, they have provided much needed vet care to over 600 cats!

They have facilitated spay and neuter for over 500 cats this year so far.

Last year during the pandemic shutdown, they spayed/neutered 896 cats and were the only organization in Whatcom County offering this service to the public.
