However, I just got put on a Performance Improvement Plan. I was completely blindsided. My manager “Beth” called me into her office and there was an HR person there, so I knew something was up. The HR person sat there saying nothing while Beth ran down a list of things I supposedly did wrong. I was too shocked to speak.
