What can I say? The recent events regarding another young black man are intolerable. The only way I could express what I’m feeling is through poetry. Doesn’t make me sleep much better at night. But it helps. I passed this poem on to my dear African-American, male friends. Do I get it? Have I said anything that can help heal the suffering of the family and friends of any victims of violence perpetrated on young black men? (C)
