“What’s Heaven Like?”

LIFE:  What was the best tasting meal you’ve ever had?  What place had the best atmosphere?

ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:

  1. Read Luke 14:15-24.
  2. What images of heaven do we see on media and shows today?
  3. Why are the excuses in these verses not very good?  How might these translate today?
  4. What excuses keep me from Jesus?
  5. According to this story, who will be invited to heaven? 
  6. Read  Isaiah 25:6.
  7. According to the verse in Isaiah, what will heaven’s banquet be like?  What will be different in heaven compared to earthly banquets?
  8. Read Zephaniah 3:17.
  9. What is described as God’s part in the heavenly banquet?

    10. MAKE DISCIPLES:  Who are you bringing to the party?  Who are you praying will be going to heaven?  Take time to pray over them now.
