Matthew 1 | I think everyone who has picked up the book The Gospel According to Matthew has skipped through most of the first chapter. That is because it is a long list of people. Unless you are really serous about Bible trivia games, most of the list is a mystery. Really, it is an awful way to start a book! Yet, Matthew probably had a good reason for including this long list of names.
