“It is crucial to listen to everybody’s story. The next time somebody says Black Lives Matter, ask them about their story. The next time somebody says All Lives Matter, ask them about their story. And look for the common values that we have as fellow citizens and as fellow human beings who want to do the good and the right in the world. That is the way to move our brain away from good versus evil and focus on the values that bind us together.”
Compassion is what makes us human. We all share the values that human lives should honored and not be wasted. In this episode of “Making Change”, Dr. Marc Gopin discusses the Black Lives Matter movement versus the All Lives Matter movement and how the path forward is to listen to our common bonds that create dignity and forge a social contract between all Americans.
