What’s in a Sign? Astrology and Activism with Corinne Crofford

In this class, Corinne Crofford asks, “What’s in a Sign?” and explains various placements and their meanings. She also discusses how astrology traits and energies can manifest as various kinds of activism to help change the world. Corinne Crofford is a native of Decatur, Georgia and a current resident of Los Angeles. Her formal training as an astrologer comes from Debra Silverman, a psychotherapist-turned-astrologer whose approach combines Esoteric (soul-centered) Astrology with Psychology. Corinne finds her work to be unique in the astrological space as well as funny, relatable and non-judgmental. The method breaks down the personality into twelve distinct psychological archetypes rather than focusing on more predictive methods of astrology. Corinne’s underlying belief in sharing this work is that when we learn to love ourselves unconditionally through the lens of the birth chart - just as we are, in all of our inherent messiness and beauty - we can help to heal our broken world.
