Recently, I heard a leadership guru say,

"Everyone listens to WIIFM What's In It For Me?"

Boy, does that ring true in this world today.

But this attitude is a long way from Paul's encouragement to consider others better than yourselves" (Philippians 2:3).

Thinking of others is not the way of the world. It is selfish to the core. That's the way we all were until the grace of God hit our hearts. That's when our thinking and attitudes started to change.

Let me tell you, It takes the Grace of God to move us away from selfish thinking and to genuinely look out for the needs of others.

In other words, God's grace tunes us to a new channel WIIFO "what's in it for others?"
